Analytical and Fabrication Services Promotion Tour (2nd Series)

18th December 2019- The School of Chemical Engineering (SChE) has successfully concluded the 2nd road tour to promote analytical and fabrication service in Universiti of Perlis Malaysia (UniMAP). SChE delegation was well hosted by Dr. Hafiza Abd Shukor from School of Bioprocess Engineering with attendance of UniMAP lecturers and several postgraduate students.



This visit was led by Dr. Azam Taufik Mohd Din (Infrastructure Manager) followed by Mrs. Rosni Mohamad Yusof (Laboratory Manager) and a several technical staff including Ms. Azrina Aziz, and Mr. Shamsul Hidayat Shaharan, Mr. Mohd Roqib Mohd Rashidi and Mr. Mohd Faiza Ismail.

The tour aims to promote the analytical and fabrication services including equipment design, fabrication, installation testing and commissioning, equipment services and training services provided by the SChE USM.

The SChE workshop has a variety of equipment/machinery to produce quality products for customers such as lathe machine, milling machine, TIG and MIG machine, grinding machine, portable drill and complete tooling. Design and fabrication services offers services in fluid mechanics, chemical and process engineering, thermodynamics engineering, environmental engineering, renewable energy and process engineering.



The tour ended at 3 pm after a short visit to School of Bioprocess Engineering laboratory and facility.
