7 October 2016, the Chemical Engineering Students Society, CheSS together with the School of Chemical Engineering had organised the Chemical Engineering Interaction Carnival, KiKeK, an annual carnival that integrates both chemical engineering’s staff and students of all levels.

NIBONG TEBAL, 1 September 2016 – Seramai 83 orang pelajar baru program Kejuruteraan Kimia telah hadir seawal jam 8.30 pagi ke Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Kimia (PPKK) bagi menghadiri Majlis Sambutan Pelajar Baru yang diadakan di Bilik Kuliah (KCK 2), PPKK.

Three Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) lecturers in various fields of engineering have made the institution proud for being listed among the Most Cited Researchers in the latest Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities 2016 by Subjects.

The three top academicians are Professor Dr Bassim H. Hameed and Professor Dr Lee Keat Teong from the USM School of Chemical Engineering, and Professor Dr Hanafi Ismail from the USM School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering.

27^th July 2016 (Wednesday), the School of Chemical Engineering, USM welcomed visitors from the Eindhoven University of Technology, which consists of 28 undergraduate students and an academic staff. The team was lead by Mr. Fabrice Fontein as the Chairman of the T.S.V. Jan Pieter Minckelers association (Japie) and accompanied by Professor Volker Hessel representing the academic staff.
