USM, PULAU PINANG, 11 Mei 2016 - Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) dan pakar dalam Reaction Engineering & Catalysis, Pemantauan dan Kawalan Pencemaran Udara (Air Pollution Monitoring and Control), Teknologi Tenaga (Fuel Technology) dan Teknologi Nano (Nanotechnology) Profesor Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, 52, dilantik oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi sebagai Timbalan Naib Canselor (Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat) Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) selama tiga tahun mulai 1 Mei 2016.

28 April 2016 - The School of Chemical Engineering, was very delighted to have Mr. Ir. Md Nabil Ab Adzim Saifuddin as an invited speaker to talk on a very specialized topic entitled; “Re-engineering & Design of Subang Aviation Fuel Terminal: From Project Management Perspective” as part of the EKC 109: Introduction to Project Management undergraduate course.

25 April 2016 - The American Chemical Society (ACS) is always concerned in preparing chemical practitioners whom of high quality to enter the future job markets. The society also helps the young members to seek for suitable career pathways right after their graduations. In line with the society’s mission, on the 23rd April 2016, the ACS-USM Student-Chapter and the School of Chemical Engineering had jointly organized a forum for the undergraduates under the theme, “Bridging the Gap between Industry and Chemical Graduates”, which took place at SERC Seminar Room, USM’s Engineering Campus.

The School of Chemical Engineering is very honoured to receive Professor Jackie Ying as the undergraduate external examiner for the period beginning 2016.
