27th November 2021, School of Chemical Engineering USM hosted the School’s Industry and Community Advisory Panel (ICAP) Annual Meeting at Zenith Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was attended by five ICAP Panellists including Dato’ Nur Iskandar (recently retired as Project Director, Petronas), Datuk Azman Ismail (MD, PLUS Bhd), Mr Paul Ellis (MD, Schaefer Kalk Sdn Bhd), TPjB Ts Ahmad Izram Osman (Division Director, Fire and Rescue Malaysia), Mdm. Nor Suhaila Kamarudin Sohami (Facilities Manager, Zurich Insurance Bhd) and the School’s Executive Committee.

NIBONG TEBAL, PENANG, 28 October 2021 – A team from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Engineering Campus will be representing the university to take part in the Spaceport America Cup 2022, which is the world’s largest Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Conference (IREC) for the first time, organised by Experimental Sounding Rocket Association.
